M-Phazes’ debut has been perhaps the most anticipated in Australian hip hop history. In a short but prolific career, the Melbourne-based producer has assembled some of the most lithe, wonky, soul-fried boom-bap out there; MCs from Drapht to Pharoahe Monch can attest. Good Gracious doesn’t disappoint. Teaming up with Australia’s finest, Phazes once more shows his propensity for matching beats to MCs.
