Apple iPhone 4
July 2, 2010Extended battery life is a huge upside of the new iPhone.

Although the new iPhone 4’s hardware is an improvement, it renders current accessories – docks, car kits, cases – obsolete. The high-res screen is outstanding for movies, the gyroscope useful for certain games and augmented reality, but the winner is extended battery life. On the software side, iOS (as the iPhone operating system is now called), adds the ability to switch out of one application with a double-tap of the front button, and then switch back without losing your context. It will take a while for all apps to support this, but it’s valuable when working on messages in the mail client. The few app crashes I had should be fixed with updates.
